General Terms and Conditions (T&C) – Umrah Reisen

I. General Provisions

1. Scope of Application

These General Terms and Conditions apply to all contracts between Umrah Reisen (hereinafter "Tour Operator") and the customer. Any deviating agreements must be made in writing.

3. Conclusion of Contract

By booking, the customer makes a binding offer to the tour operator to conclude a travel contract. The contract is concluded upon receipt of the booking confirmation.

4. Payment Terms

A deposit of 20% of the travel price is due at the conclusion of the contract. The balance must be paid no later than 30 days before the start of the trip. If payment is not made on time, the tour operator may withdraw from the contract after a reminder.

5. Services

The scope of contractual services results from the travel description and the booking confirmation.

6. Changes in Services

Changes to individual travel services are only permitted if they are insignificant and do not affect the overall nature of the trip. Flight times, airlines and stopovers may change, provided this is reasonable for the customer.

7. Withdrawal by the Customer (Cancellation)

The customer may withdraw at any time before the start of the trip. The receipt of the withdrawal declaration is decisive. The following flat-rate cancellation fees apply:

• up to 30 days before the start of the trip: 30%
• up to 15 days before the start of the trip: 60%
• up to 7 days before the start of the trip: 80%
• from 7 days before the start of the trip: 90%

The customer reserves the right to prove that no or a lesser damage has occurred.

8. Withdrawal by the Organiser

The tour operator may withdraw from the contract before the start of the trip if:

• the minimum number of participants is not reached (if specified),
• exceptional circumstances (e.g. political situation, pandemics, administrative orders in Saudi Arabia) make execution impossible.

Payments already made will be refunded.

9. Termination for Good Cause

The tour operator may terminate the contract without notice if the customer significantly disrupts the trip or behaves contrary to the contract.

10. Traveller's Duty to Cooperate

The traveller is obligated to:

• report any defects immediately on site
• do everything reasonable to mitigate damage

11. Passport, Visa and Health Regulations

The customer is personally responsible for:

• valid travel documents
• visa for Saudi Arabia
• vaccination and health regulations

The tour operator provides information to the best of its knowledge but accepts no liability for short-term changes by authorities.

12. Health Notes

Travellers should be in good enough health to perform the religious rituals (Umrah). For pre-existing conditions, it is recommended to seek medical advice in advance.

13. Insurance

It is strongly recommended to take out travel cancellation and foreign health insurance.

14. Liability

The liability of the tour operator is governed by the statutory provisions. For service failures related to third-party services (e.g. airlines), liability is assumed only within the framework of the statutory provisions.

15. Data Protection

The separate data protection provisions on the website apply.

16. Final Provisions

German law applies. If any provision is invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions remains unaffected.
